Western New York Volunteer Firemen's Parade and Drill Team Captains Association
Our Mission
NYS Drill Teams is a professional league of volunteer firefighters from across NY State who compete in firematic competitions. These competitions are geared towards honing basic firefighting proficiencies, developing and fostering teamwork, character-building, commitment, discipline, physical fitness and conditioning. Participation in the league complements each fire department's primary function of emergency response to fires, medical emergencies, and other calamities, while instilling members with a life-long commitment to serving their community as highly skilled volunteer firefighters.
WNY DTCA Meeting - Friday, Sept. 15th at Henrietta
Any team that won yearly trophies from last year please bring them to the September Meeting. They will be given out at the WNY DTCA Award Dinner which will by held Sat., Sept. 30th at Henrietta.
If you have nominations for any WNY DTCA officer position please see anyone on the Life Member/Nominations Committee (i.e. Doug Howe, Jim Lawida, Mark Thomas)
I would also like a team captain from each team to reach out to me with their vote for the Team Sportsmanship Award. Please E-mail me individually before the meeting or do so after the meeting on Friday.
